We are committed to protecting your privacy, ensuring the security of your personal data, and maintaining strict compliance with applicable privacy laws and third-party platform policies including Google, YouTube, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and LinkedIn.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, process, share, and protect your information when you interact with our platform, website, mobile services, and integrated social media management utilities.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you directly provide to us, data generated when you use our platform, and data retrieved via authorized third-party integrations:

  • Account & Profile Data: Name, email address, phone number, country of residence, academic history, field of study interest, and credentials during registration.
  • Institutional & Franchise Data: Business name, accreditation documentation, staff member accounts, and institutional communication records.
  • Technical & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, access timestamps, and device identifiers.
  • Social Integration OAuth Data: When institutions connect social channels (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), we receive authorized OAuth access tokens, channel/page names, post content, comment records, and performance metrics.

2. Third-Party API Services & Social Media Integrations

Findadmission enables educational institutions and franchise administrators to manage their social media presence, schedule updates, respond to student comments, and analyze engagement metrics from within our dashboard.

A. Google & YouTube API Services

Findadmission uses YouTube API Services to provide YouTube channel integration capabilities for institutional users.

  • By using Findadmission's YouTube integration, users agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Scopes Used: We access youtube.readonly, youtube.upload, youtube.force-ssl, and yt-analytics.readonly strictly to allow authorized users to publish educational videos, view video comments, publish replies, and inspect aggregated channel performance metrics.
  • Data Storage & Usage: We store encrypted OAuth tokens to maintain connectivity. YouTube video data and comment data fetched via API are cached locally solely to render your unified dashboard inbox and analytics view. We do not sell or share YouTube API data with external third parties, data brokers, or advertisers.
  • Access Revocation: You can revoke Findadmission's access to your YouTube and Google account data at any time via the Google Security Settings Page or by disconnecting your account in the Findadmission settings.

B. Meta API Services (Facebook & Instagram)

Findadmission uses the Meta Graph API to allow institutions to manage connected Facebook Pages and Instagram Business/Creator accounts.

  • Data Accessed: Page profiles, published posts, incoming public comments, and aggregated post/page engagement metrics.
  • Data Usage & Deletion: Data accessed via Meta APIs is used exclusively for content publishing, comment response management, and reporting within the franchise portal. Users can disconnect their Meta accounts at any time to purge all active access tokens from our database.
  • Compliance is maintained in accordance with the Meta Privacy Policy.

C. LinkedIn API Services

When connected, Findadmission uses LinkedIn APIs to permit organizational updates and display post performance metrics in compliance with the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process collected information for the following legitimate purposes:

  • To match student applicants with relevant educational programs and partner institutions.
  • To enable social media management, post scheduling, unified messaging, and performance tracking for franchise partners.
  • To authenticate user sessions, prevent fraud, and secure platform operations.
  • To communicate critical updates, application status notifications, and customer support responses.

4. Data Storage, Security & Token Protection

We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your personal information and integrated API data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse:

  • Encryption in Transit & At Rest: All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Sensitive tokens (OAuth refresh/access tokens) are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
  • Access Restrictions: Access to user data and tokens is strictly restricted to authorized background jobs and authenticated platform managers.

5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosures

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or third-party API data to advertisers, marketers, or data brokers.

We only share information under the following limited circumstances:

  • With Educational Institutions: When a student submits an application or requests counseling from a specific institution.
  • Service Providers & Infrastructure Subprocessors: Trusted cloud infrastructure, email delivery, and data host providers bound by strict confidentiality and data protection agreements.
  • Legal Requirements: If required to do so by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority.

6. User Rights, Access Control & Revocation

Under applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA), users possess the following rights regarding their data:

  • Right of Access & Rectification: You may request a copy of your personal data or update inaccurate details in your profile settings.
  • Right to Erasure (Deletion): You may request complete deletion of your account and associated personal data.
  • Revocation of Third-Party API Access: You can disconnect connected YouTube, Meta, or LinkedIn accounts anytime in your dashboard settings, or directly via Google Security Permissions. Disconnecting immediately removes associated access tokens from our active database.

7. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or to comply with legal obligations. Upon account deletion or social target removal:

  • OAuth tokens associated with connected social media platforms are immediately invalidated and deleted.
  • Cached social metrics and inbox messages retrieved via third-party APIs are purged within 30 days.

8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Findadmission uses cookies and session identifiers to maintain user authentication, remember user preferences, and analyze platform traffic. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though certain interactive features of the site may be affected.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for individuals pursuing secondary and higher education options (generally ages 13 and above). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parental consent. If we learn that we have inadvertently gathered data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.
